Providing dependable proactive and reactive advice to landowners – whatever is required

Our professional role is to advise and direct the best possible result for the sale and change of use of development projects – encompassing all types of land and property, from Greenbelt and greenfield strategic land, to urban fringe, urban regeneration, new settlements, brownfield redevelopment and change of use of commercial buildings.

Our projects are typically residential-led developments, focussed on introducing much needed residential accommodation into the market and maximising the value of the land or property for the owner. Most residential developments will also include some form of non-residential use, from modest community facilities such as allotments and community halls, up to true mixed-use developments with significant leisure, retail, office, industrial, education, public transport, green infrastructure and many other capital generating or non-capital generating uses.

At Hambleden we have significant experience and proven expertise in advising and acting for landowners on a broad range of development projects, from garden development up to new settlements and town centre regeneration schemes.

Our personal experience covers many different projects, with many different types of Landowners. We pride ourselves on ability to understand the motivations, working styles, priorities, constraints, and uniqueness of a wide range of clients, from families and farmers, small businesses and corporations, estates and local authorities, schools, universities and Oxbridge colleges, to banks and pensions funds, charities and religious institutions, and the Crown Estate.

Whatever the situation, our role is a crucial one, and we take our responsibility towards owners, stakeholders and the wider community very seriously.

Hambleden is capable and attentive. It is founded on the professional skills and knowledge of George Newcombe MRICS and on extensive ‘big consultancy’ experience, including the leadership of multi-disciplinary professional teams. At the same time Hambleden’s lean and efficient profile ensures a highly personal, effective service for clients and development opportunities.
